TURCK has introduced a passive radio frequency identification (RFID) system, for use in harsh industrial environments, available in Australia from Micromax .
"Balogh distributed by Turck" is a complementary partnership between Balogh and Turck that was formed to take advantage of the strengths of both companies.
The goal of this partnership is to provide innovative and quality RFID and connectivity solutions to a strong industrial base.
RFID systems provide a solution that not only tracks products (read only tags), but also manages information (read/write tags) to allow users to increase productivity and quality, reduce costs of manufacturing, and multi-task on single lines.
A system typically consists of tags, transceivers, controllers and cordsets. Using the principle of inductive transmission, data can be exchanged to and from the transceivers and passive tags without physical contact between the two.
The object of the system is to carry data in the tags so that it can be retrieved by the transceivers at a time and place to satisfy the application.
The controller provides absolute data security and acts as an interface to the PCL or PC. Balogh distributed by Turck RFID systems are highly flexible solutions that overcome the limits of other automatic ID systems.
