Micromax has announced the release of the latest Extreme Rugged computer-on-module from ADLINK Technology, the Ampro by ADLINK Express-CBR.
The Express-CBR single board computer leverages the Intel Core i7 processor with a QM57 chipset to deliver ultra high performance and the Intel 82574IT GbE Controller to suit wide-range temperature applications. This combination makes the Express-CBR computer-on-module ideal for modular, ultra high performance applications that require a low power platform for harsh environments.
ADLINK’S Express-CBR computer-on-module features dual channel DDR3 SODIMM with up to 8GB memory, paired with onboard Gigabit Ethernet for high-speed communications. It supports dual channel 18/24-bit LVDS, VGA and SDVO interfaces, plus Embedded DisplayPort (eDP) multiplexed with PCI Express x8.
Measuring just 95 mm x 125 mm, the compact Express-CBR computer-on-module boasts additional features including:
- Intel Turbo Boost Technology and Hyper-Threading Technology for optimum performance
- eight USB 2.0 ports
- four SATA channels
- PICMG COM Express COM.0 compliance.
