IN-SNEC has released the new VME-BolP-8 an eight channel VME Baseband over IP High resolution Acquisition Board.

The VME-BolP-8 features 8 analogue channels that can be used to digitise 8 real input signals or 4 complex input signals.
Using ADC resolution the 8 signals are synchronous and triggered by an IPPS TOP Signal.
This trigger can be delivered by a clock driven by a GPS time and UTC which allows the possibility of synchronising different boards on the same time base and on the same event.
The sampling frequency is generated from the 10MHz provided to the card and can be selected from 1MHz down to 100Hz.
The VME-BolP-8 board features a FPGA that generates the sampling frequency, receives the digitised flow and realises pre-processing such as filtering and formatting the pairs of samples.
The VME-BolP-8 board is suitable for applications such as Satellite Communications, Base Band Stations, modems and acquisitions that are one shot, multi trigger and continuous.
