GE Fanuc Intelligent Platforms have announced the release of Telum ASLP11 high performance processor.
The Telum ASLP11 high performance processor is available from Metromatics .
These processors are designed for sophisticated and demanding network applications and have the following benefits:
- Intel Core2 Duo L7400 1.5 GHz processor
- Up to 4 Gbytes of ECC memory
- Can be configured as root controller or end node/target
- Optional extended temperature variant
The Telum ASLP11 high performance processor is a single width, full or mid sized ACM processor board and is designed for distributed ATCA/Micro TCA processing applications such as wireless base stations, voice over packet, test and measurement, server blades and other enterprise-wide computing.
The ASLP11 delivers the processing power, memory capacity, functionality and reliability that the ATCA/Micro TCA processing applications need.
The onboard x8 PCI Express controller and associated FCLKA fabric clock can be configured as either the root controller for subtending PCI Express subnet or as end node (target) on a PCI Express subnet.
These features are defined by the host system during power up and provide customers with flexibility and enhanced price/performance as they allow the host system to deploy distributed processing resources to support more advanced network applications.
