ASTRO-Med has introduced the Everest, a recording platform designed for the unique demands of aerospace testing, suitable for applications such as flight-testing, missile testing, flight simulation and satellite telemetry.
It contains a high resolution, 18" colour display for viewing waveforms in real-time. The display can be customised with different colours for waveforms; grids, timing marks, text and signals can even change colours when they exceed preset levels.
There is an easy-to-use touch panel control which makes the user interface easily customisable and provides the ability to mark a point to interest and add a notation for later review.
The high print quality produces clear and accurate charts. The Virtual Chart feature allows the user to save large amounts of data to an on-board hard drive, which can be reviewed on the display, played back to the chart or event taken to a PC for offline analysis.
It can accept up to 32 analog inputs. Digital data can also be input via ethernet or other optional interfaces. The Everest accepts IRIG A, B, H and NASA 36.
A real time look back feature allows viewing of historical data without interrupting real-time recording. Metromatics 07 3868 4255.
