Landmark Technology’s LM196-315XWO2 from Metromatics delivers a screen brightness of 1250 nits, two and a half times the brightness of a standard 32” LCD TV. It also has a high contrast ratio of 1,500:1.
This makes it suitable for digital signage applications, such as store front windows where a bright display will attract the attention of customers.
The LM196 module has 1,366 x 768 native resolution. AT 1,250 nits brightness, the image on the screen matches the superb quality of traditional advertising signs that use light boxes behind colour transparencies. In addition, the colour of the white is closely balanced to that of a traditional backlit sign.
