The Landmark Technology's LM198-260XW03 from Metromatics is a 26” very high brightness (VHB) LCD module specifically designed for digital signage applications. The module contains an AUTO T260XW03 LCD with a landmark VHB backlight and the BI528 inverter to run the VHB backlight. At the full brightness setting, the screen luminance can reach 1,500 nits, three times the brightness of standard 26” LCD TVs.
The LM198 module has 1,366 x 768 native resolution. AT 1,500 nits brightness, the image on the screen matches the superb quality of traditional advertising signs that use light boxes behind colour transparencies. In addition, the colour of the white is closely balanced to that of a traditional backlit sign.
