This improvement offers a USB type solution for strain gauge based load cells. Futek Advanced Sensor Technology USB sensor solution provides an easy plug and play with software making the system integration simple.
The S beam load cell has become an efficient product in the Futek Advanced Sensor Technology load cell series due to the USB output. The S beam load cell is used in medical bag weighing applications as well as automated feed back control and inline processing applications. The standard LSB350 S beam load cell model has female threads and comes in both anodised aluminium (500lbs-1000lbs) and 17-4 stainless steel construction (2000lbs), with 4-Pin Lemo receptacle or integrated cable. It is also available in metric threads.
The S beam load cell model has a high accuracy with a nonlinearity of ±0.05% deflection of 0.003” nominal and an operating temperature of -60°F to 200°F. The LSB350 S beam load cell can be modified to or customised to meet users’ requirements.
