FUTEK Advanced Sensor Technology, represented in Australia and New Zealand by Metromatics , have introduced PMP500 pressure sensors. The PMP500 pressure sensors have intrinsic safe approvals from FM, ATEX, CE and CSA to help and support international shipments of OEM equipment designed with these transmitters. These four approvals also provide global recognition and acceptance of the intrinsically safe ratings.
The stainless steel, rugged construction features an all-welded measuring cell making the transmitter improved for media compatibility. The compact design also makes the PMP500 pressure sensors suitable for Industrial applications including chemical, petrochemical, oil and gas refining, food industry and mechanical engineering functions.
The PMP500 pressure sensor can be used in pressure measurement applications where intrinsically safe ratings are required. The PMP500 pressure sensors feature an all-welded stainless steel measuring cell for improved media compatibility. There are no internal soft sealing materials that may react with the media or deteriorate over time. The compact case in the PMP500 pressure sensor is also made of stainless steel and is available with environmental protection rating up to NEMA 6P/IP68.
