FGP Sensors has released the XF 2048 miniature force/compression transducer that benefits from the new advances in micro machines silicon-sensor technology and manufacturing techniques.
The XF 2048 miniature force/compression transducer works in an operating environment of -20° Celsius to +150° Celsius while adhering to standard IP67 protection. The XF 2048 miniature force/compression transducer can be sterilised at temperatures ranging from 120° to 140° Celsius and therefore making it ideal for medical applications such as measuring the strength in the fit of a prosthesis body parts.
FGP Sensors, in its design and manufacture, is well known for the company’s experience in adapting its product to specific environments or custom applications. In addition FGP Sensors supply a wide range of signal conditioning, power supply and output modes so as to provide complete calibrated ready to use measurements. FGP Sensors are represented by Metromatics in Australia and New Zealand.
