ALE has released of the ET7 which is a new high resolution ink jet printer that has a print band of 70mm with unlimited lines and fields at a resolution of 180 dpi.
ET7 is a rugged compact modular unit, loaded with all the high performance features imaginable.
Some of these features include: fantastic print quality, large ink supply, electronically controlled priming and the ET7 can print economically from a low to high density ink coverage.
The ET7 controller will drive two or even four 70mm print heads from one module. Printing is possible for either both sides at the same time or in different positions or faces of the carton, otherwise four print heads can be combined together to print one print height of 280mm.
The ET7 can be installed either as a stand alone printer or connected to a fully integrated information system.
The software packages – Codex, Tracex, and Active-X - provide huge extra printing capabilities such as: Image design, external text, address printing, barcode printing and automatic barcode quality verification.
This means every box that is printed with a barcode has been guaranteed readable on the production line, if not the ET7 will stop the line and tell you.
The ALE ET7 is affordable and practically maintenance free. The ET7 requires no cleaner or flushing.
Other features of the ALE ET7 include:
- Time and date functions including expiry date
- Shift Coding and real time clock
- Upper and lower case characters in variety of languages
