Dytran introduces two new ultra miniature teardrop IEPE accelerometers designed to adhesively mount in spaces typically inaccessible to other types of accelerometers.

Dytran Models 3225M36 and 3225M37 miniature teardrop accelerometers feature a quartz shear sensing element in a lightweight titanium housing. Available with 5 or 10 mV/g sensitivity, the sensors measure 5.5mm in overall height and weigh just 0.85 grams.

Models 3225M36 and 3225M37 accelerometers utilise a specially designed 3-56 coaxial connector, mating with a field replaceable 20’ coaxial cable assembly terminating to a 10-32 plug with adhesive mounting capabilities.

The units incorporate Transducer Electronic Data Sheet (TEDS; per IEEE 1451.4) for larger channel count applications.

Key features of Dytran 3225M36/M37 miniature teardrop accelerometers:

  • Miniature teardrop design
  • 5 or 10 mV/g sensitivity
  • Weighs 0.85 grams
  • Integral cable assembly terminating to 10-32 plug
  • Adhesive mount
  • TEDS capabilities
  • IEEE
Dytran Models 3225M36 and 3225M37 miniature teardrop accelerometers are used in Environmental Stress Screening (ESS), mechanical shock and PC board vibration response applications.
