Dytran Model 4752BT is a range of miniature in-line charge amplifiers designed for use with high temperature charge mode accelerometers.
Powered using constant current sources, Dytran Model 4752BT miniature in-line charge amplifiers are compatible with IEPE designated instrumentation, and feature IEEE 1451.4 TEDS capabilities.
Charge amplifiers convert electrostatic, high impedance charge signals generated by charge generators such as charge mode accelerometers to lower impedance voltage mode signals that can drive longer cables with signal degradation.
Available with a sensitivity of 10 mV/pC, Model 4752BT features extremely fast turn-on time (<5 seconds) and is hermetically sealed for reliable operation in high humidity and dirty environments.
Dytran Model 4752BT miniature in-line charge amplifiers can operate with high temperature charge mode sensors because of their ability to tolerate very low levels of insulation resistance, a typical characteristic of high temperature piezoelectric accelerometers.
Unlike conventional charge amplifiers that would shut down, the Dytran Model 4752BT can accept sensors with insulation resistance as low as 100kOhms without any deterioration in performance.
