DEWE-800 PC instrument is the perfect platform for many data acquisition applications. Just add the Dewetron DAQ modules and the system accepts signals from MV to kV and any sensor like pressure, strain, force, temperature, torque, flow.
The DEWE-800-CA version adds on the angle sensor input and the CA software and turns the DEWE-800 into a complete comprehensive combustion analyser, which offers angle and/or time based sampling.
This type of system is also available in a mobile version specifically manufactured for the automotive industry.
The DEWE-800-CA consists of up to 16 analogue inputs (16 x DEWE-DAQ amplifiers). The DEWE-801-CA consists of 16 voltage inputs with up to +/-10 V (7 ranges).
The analogue and voltage inputs are the only differences between the two types of combustion analysers.
The DEWE-800-CA & DEWE-801-CA standard features consist of the following:
- 1 up to 2 A/D cards
- 2.8 GHz Intel Pentium 4 processor
- 1 GB RAM
- 250GB hard disk
- Internal DVD +/- RW drive
- 5 x PCI slots
- 10/100/100 BaseT Ethernet
- 2 x USB 2.0 interfaces
- 1 x RS-232 interface
- Microsoft Windows XP professional operating system
Each system includes the DEWESoft-6-PROF analysis software for time, domain data acquisition including FFT, recorder and scope. However there is a choice between the combustion analyser software consisting of:
- DEWE-CA-PROF, professional version; 8 channels, 1 MS/s each channel (12-bit) expandable up to 16 channels
- DEWE-CA-SE, standard edition: 16 channels, 1 MS/s multiplexed (16-bit) expandable up to 32 channels
The DEWE-800-CA and DEWE-801-CA COTS/open architecture computer platform makes it easy to upgrade.
Some of the upgradeable features include an upgrade to RAM, upgrade to hard disk, 19” TFT displays and power supplies.
The DEWE-800’s models operating temperature is 0 to +40° with a total weight of around 13-15kg and dimensions of 17.2” x 17.4” x 7”.
Dewetron are leaders in the manufacture of COTS/open architecture data acquisition systems and Metromatics are their sole distributor of Australia and New Zealand.
