The regular standard execution of drive-in installations featured bracing lanes set at determined intervals. With the new optimisation, drive-in installations are available with an alternative solution, allowing for increased storage capacity and lower cost per pallet location.
The alternative drive-in optimisation solution is achieved with bracing structures applied on the back side of the installation as well as on the top, enabling customers to fully exploit the overall available storage capacity without losing pallet locations due to bracing lanes.
The fastening system of the bracing structures is based on standard components alone, eliminating the need for costly special items. With the application of this new bracing system, drive-in installations can be built up to a height of 8 metres and a lane depth of up to 6 metres.
