METABO has released four hammers for heavy concrete work. The range includes a 1050W (5.9kg) combination hammer, a 1150W (6.4kg) combination hammer, a 1150W (5.7kg) demolition hammer and a 1500W (9.8kg) demolition hammer.
They are built with Metabo's VTC electronics which automatically increases power output in tough conditions to maintain drilling speed. The hammers have been built with a die cast magnesium gear housing that increases durability and decreases weight. This allows them to be used over long periods of time without fatigue. The hammers also have inbuilt vibration dampening, rubber coated handles and oversized switches for user comfort.
The Metabo Code anti-theft system is available for the hammers. It works like a car immobiliser, allowing the tools to be locked at the push of a button, using an infrared remote. Locked tools are then useless to potential thieves.
Metabo's XXL warranty applies to the new hammers. This is a two-year extension of the one-year warranty for customers who register personal information on-line at www.metabo.com/xxl within 4 weeks of purchase.
