The pressure transmitter switch, available from Measurement Resources , has been designed to provide alarm or control contacts for chemical, hygienic, viscous and waste duties, where only a flush diaphragm in contact with the process is desirable. The TD series combines a high accuracy pressure switch with a stainless steel isolating diaphragm seal.
The typical duties of pressure transmitter switch include hygienic, corrosive waste and viscous fluids in the food, chemical and water industries. The pressure switch is suitable for use with slurries or in situations where the process fluid may solidify.
The transmission system is charged by a high vacuum filling procedure which gives sensitive, stable operation with reduced temperature effects. The switch mechanism gives volt free change over contacts with a life of 100,000 to 300,000 operations dependant on the electrical load.
The pressure transmitter switch is offered as an integral bolt on unit or, where access considerations demand a remote version, as a switch with an interconnecting capillary is offered.
All pressure transmitter switches are fitted with a set point adjustment that enable on site recalibration if required.
