The EP 16 Precision Thermopile Pyrano Albedometer provided by McVan Instruments is a dual head version of the EP08 Pyranometer and can be used for measurement of the ratio of upward to downward solar radiation flux density on a plane surface. EP 16 Precision Thermopile Pyrano Albedometer provides direct microvolt output whereas the EP 16-E version of Precision Thermopile Pyrano Albedometer is integrated with signal amplifier which provides milivolt output for ease of use with low cost dataloggers.
All the sensors provided by McVan Instruments are integrated with temperature compensation which provides separate outputs. Sensors supplied by McVan Instruments are made of marine grade aluminium (hard anodised) which helps in corrosion resistance.
