MayTec Australia  recently met the challenging design requirements of a healthcare services provider for hospital trolleys.

Clinical Technology Services of the NSW Northern Health Services required flexible surgery trolleys that could be easily modified to suit equipment changes, repairs and even parts replacement.

In addition to a lightweight construction, the trolleys needed to be strong enough to travel from corridors to paved roads while also being clean to meet high surgical standards.

MayTec offers an extensive range of 'cleanroom' profiles that can be combined with a unique connection system to provide a flexible solution for the hospital trolley.

Key features of the hospital trolleys:

  • Each shelf is vertically adjustable with a simple hex key
  • Components can unlock and 'slide' out if required
  • Connection slots are hidden away from potential blood or fluid spills ensuring simple and fast cleaning
  • Slots accommodating the connection system also double up as panel retainers
  • Easy access to equipment
MayTec can design a range of trolley systems to suit individual requirements that allow for easy modification, upgrading and replacement of parts.
