MayTec Australia presents the new Eco-Slide sliding carriage to meet the demand for a low end slider system in the market.
Adaptable to any MayTec frame, the Eco-Slide can be used for a large number of basic linear movement applications. Until recently, MayTec was only providing high precision linear guide rails mounted onto the profiles to provide an accurate guide rail for the movement of carriage assemblies.
The Eco-Slide is a simple sliding carriage interfacing with most profiles and offering over 20 carriage design variants. The Eco-Slide offers a number of open slots for the user to interface any product or device as needed.
MayTec’s extensive range of fastening elements such as T-Nuts and bolt inserts can be utilised to mount equipment onto the sliding carriage. The Eco Slide runs smoothly over the profiles using special Murlubric glide blocks, which have extremely low friction and are manufactured to high tolerances.
The carriages can be motor driven or hand operated for manual adjustment.
According to Jason Boric, who implemented the Eco Slide system to suit Webforge's requirements, MayTec’s slide can be fitted quickly and easily with the components not only easy to use but also providing a range of options to suit their specific needs. Webforge is planning to upgrade all their welding rigs with the Eco-Slide.
