Folding machines for longer materials
Folding machines for longer materials

Maxitec  has introduced a new range of folding machines, Tensol Origami, manufactured by OEMB. The Tensol Origami range is designed for folding longer materials.

The Tensol Origami has machines with folding lengths of four metres, six metres, eight metres, 10 metres, 12 metres and 14 metres, as well as customised lengths for the occasional specific need.

The Tensol Origami folding machine is wear-proof and durable and has a hardened reinforcement bar suitable for folding materials which exceed the hardness of standard steels.

Work depth of the Tensol Origami folding machine is in the range of 1,100mm depth for Type H; 1,250mm depth for Type I and 1,500mm depth for Type U.

The performance of the Tensol Origami folding machine is based on control units like:

  • Control unit TE 2200 -ON/OFF (standard)
  • Control unit TE 2200 -ON/OFF Multi programme
  • Control unit TE 2200 -Proportional System
  • Control unit TE 2200 -Office version for PC
  • Control unit TE 3011
  • Control unit TE 3011 -Office version for PC

These simple, reliable, intuitive and precise control systems have features including one programme allowing possibility of more than 100 lines, touch screen operation, programme incremental quotes, programme fold repetitions, hard drive minimum of 40GB, numeric programme names, USB stick for backup and programs restore and ergonomic command disposal.

In addition, there is the possibility to execute radius with the help of a specific programming, possibility to manage the oblique back gauge with the programming help menu for pneumatic back-stop BC-04 and BV-99, and the prospect to integrate the double back gauge management (10mm-50mm) for pneumatic back-stop BC-04 and BV-99.

Also, high speed jumps can be managed, managing the signalling lights up to 4 positions, laser safety system management, hydraulic shear management, segment management and graphic design signed by Nexusdesign.

Backgauges available include belt-driven back gauge BC-99, belt-driven back gauge BC-04, oblique belt-driven back gauge BC-04, back gauge with ball screws BV-99, and oblique back gauge with ball screws BV-99

Shear options include manual shear TM 1.0, motorised hydraulic shear HYS 1.5-04 A and HYS 2.0-04 A, motorized hydraulic shear HYS 1.5-04 S and HYS 2.0-04 S, motorised hydraulic shear HYS 3.0-02, motorised hydraulic shear HYS 3.0 HD, and motorised hydraulic shear HYS 4.0-06.

A full length safety foot rail can be activated during the Tensol Origami folding machine’s normal functioning cycle. There are two modes of operation:

  • If activated, the Tensol Origami folding machine will go to the STOP position and all operations will cease.
  • If activated, the Tensol Origami folding machine will stop all operations, bring the beam to the 0 degree position and open the upper jaw at 30mm at least. During the downward movement, the upper jaw stops at about 30mm away from the lower jaw.

A signalling light is provided for productivity improvement, which is very useful when the operator is more than three metres away and the unit is configurable up to 4 modulus.

The reinforcement bar from hardened steel with hardness 46-50-HRC is of 30 x 10mm (for Tensol Origami folding machines up to 2.00mm), 30 x 15mm (for Tensol Origami folding machines up to 2.50mm) or 60 x 25mm (for Tensol Origami folding machines from 3 to 4mm). Other dimensions are available on request.
