BECAUSE the lenses on high powered CO2 laser cutting machines are prone to damage during the breakthrough phase on sheet metal or glass, Esse A. has developed a solution to safeguard this expensive consumable and extend its lifespan.

Distributed throughout Australia and New Zealand by Advanced Sheetmetal Technologies , the Esse A. laser nozzles and laser head accessories not only protect the lens but also optimise the gas consumption of the machine to increase productivity compared with unguarded lenses.

The Esse A. lasers cutting peripherals carry out their function by working on the terminal part of the head. They create a chamber in which the back spatters and the metallic particles are stopped so as not to damage the lens.

The end result is a better quality cutting because the integrity of the lens is able to be preserved for longer, faster breakthrough action and savings in gas consumption.
