ADVANCED Sheetmetal Technologies has released the VersaGage device, replacing tape measures, calipers, height gauges, single-axis measurement tables and coordinate measuring machines.

VersaGage has a durable, carbon fibre and hard anodised aluminium construction with a large digital readout with a resolution of 0.0005. It includes a certified verification plate for gauge calibration.

It measures in metric or imperial scale and requires no tools or adjustments. A hold button allows an operator to make difficult or awkward measurements.

A data port allows connection to a range of data collection devices or SPC software packages. Each unit is shipped precalibrated and has its own calibration certificate traceable to NIST.

It is available in 457.2mm, 609.6mm, 1016mm, 1524mm, and 2032mm lengths.
