ADVANCED Sheetmetal Technologies has been appointed Australian distributer for the Kuhlmeyer range of belt grinding machines for metalworking industries.
The range includes edge and bevel grinding machines for seam preparation before welding. The KFS automatic edge and bevel grinding machines are aimed at heavy machine building, shop building, tank building, bridge building and general construction.
The UKF universal edge beveller is designed for steel service centres, cable cars and the vehicle building industry. The FF bevel belter is designed for the railway carriage industry and the vehicle building industry.
The BBK1/2 can automatically grind one corner, while the BBK2 can automatically grind two corners and the BBK4 can manage four. The ZBS twin belt grinding machine is designed for manual corner preparation.
The PBM portal-belt grinding machine is aimed at food processing stainless steel enclosures and tanks while the PZM portal-twin belt grinding machine is designed for the chemical industry, stoves, kitchen and catering machines, as well as industrial washing machines.
The SPB rigid bed portal-belt grinding machine is designed for steel walls in ship building, surface grinding on slabs, and concrete framework. The ZBS twin-belt grinding machine is designed for surfaces, as is the GS large surface grinding machine for removal of scrapes and decking rams on hot rolled sheets and plates. It also has uses in surface grinding on high alloyed, difficult to pickle, sheets and plates.
The UPM universal polishing machine is used on stainless steel decorative stripes, automotive interior covers and stainless steel covers and panels. The FPM and KPM automatic polishers are aimed at surfaces and edges on stainless steel sink units and stainless steel kitchen panels.
