A new locking position can only be set after the bolt has been disengaged, so locking bolts are typically used where frequent repositioning and locking functions are required without the need for additional tools.
Kipp locking bolts are available in a variety of grips as standard but also available in a plain thread version allowing the assembly of your choice of handles or program controlled operation.
‘Lock out’ versions are also available, and are used when the function to temporarily hold out the bolt is required.
Kipp locking bolts are available in many forms including:
- short and long versions
- stainless steel
- collarless; and
- automation (cable) versions.
Precision locking bolts with sleeves are the perfect combination for rapid combined positioning and fixing. The precision finish of both the locking bolt and the sleeve guarantees high repeating accuracy when assembling the two elements.
Kipp locking bolts are available in 10,12,16,20 and 25mm pin diameter sizes.
