Australian truck and trailer parts supplier, MaxiPARTS announces the acquisition of Central Coast Truck Parts.
MaxiPARTS’ current wholesale warehouse in Moorebank will also soon be relocated to a significantly larger combined retail/wholesale facility in Ingleburn in early December to meet the growing demand.
Central Coast Truck Parts is a leading provider of truck parts, accessories and consumables in the Warnervale area (central coast NSW), specialising in after-market parts for international vehicles.
MaxiPARTS General Manager, Peter Loimaranta explains that the strategic Central Coast Truck Parts acquisition is complementary to the existing MaxiPARTS wholesale and retail network and will further improve their expanding coverage of the Australian market. However, very little will change at Central Coast Truck Parts, with Glenn Heenan, the current manager and his team continuing with the company.
According to Mr Loimaranta, with the addition of MaxiPARTS diverse core product range, MaxiPARTS Central Coast will be a one stop shop for the area serving customers looking for diverse products from a car fridge, tool kit or LED light to tyres, axles and suspensions.
Mr Loimaranta says the relocation of the Moorebank warehouse is also very important to their long term strategy. The larger, 1500m² site in Ingleburn will allow them to increase their ability to ship product directly into the Sydney area; the location also has great access to major Sydney freeway networks, providing improved freight connections to their reseller customers throughout the state. The new site will also allow them to service the Southern Sydney Metro trade and retail markets as well as combine with Central Coast business and other MaxiPARTS stores to provide a comprehensive Eastern Seaboard branch network.
Mr Loimaranta said that both the Central Coast Truck Parts acquisition and the Moorebank relocation form a part of MaxiPARTS’ growth strategy, following the recent opening of their new store in Mackay.
