Leading Australian truck and trailer parts supplier, MaxiPARTS is opening a new retail store in Darwin.

To open for business in July this year, MaxiPARTS’ new retail outlet is being set up as part of the company’s plans to expand their network and start a greenfield site in Darwin following the extremely successful start-up of their Mackay site in November 2013.

MaxiPARTS General Manager, Peter Loimaranta comments that they will be looking to replicate the key success factors of the Mackay store, including the right service, right location, right stock, and the right price in Darwin.

According to Loimaranta, the store will be set up at 508 Stuart Highway, Winnellie and will offer over 1300m² of showroom and warehousing space, allowing MaxiPARTS to carry sufficient stock to satisfy the requirements of the busy Darwin industry. The site’s close location to the port allows for the landing of containers to enable swift replenishment of stock and customer orders.

MaxiPARTS Northern Regional Manager, Alan Bianchi says he is excited by the prospect of opening the greenfield store in Darwin. Based on the model of MaxiPARTS’ Gladstone and Mackay stores, which are having great success in servicing companies involved in major infrastructure, mining and gas projects along with their core business servicing the greater transport industry, the new store will provide professional service levels for their Northern Territory customer base.
