Matthews Australasia are coding and labelling specialists. Matthews’ Linx Thermal Transfer Overprinters (TTO) are ideal for coding onto flexible film packaging, labels or gloss card —efficiently, easily and with low ownership costs.

Linx Thermal Transfer Printers
With a range of applications, Matthews’ Linx Thermal Transfer printers are ideal for the snack food, confectionery and pharmaceutical sectors.

Available in two differing models (TT5 and TT10) and with widths up to 110mm, the Linx Thermal Transfer printer is perfect for printing larger messages, such as ingredients, logos and promotional information as well as best-before dates and batch codes.

TT5 and TT10 Linx Thermal Label Printers
The Linx Thermal Transfer series enables increased production line uptime in several ways:
  • One is through using motors, rather than clutches, to control ribbon tension, which minimises the risk of ribbon breaks.
  • The ribbon cassette design provides a simple ribbon path which ensures changing ribbons is quick and simple
  • Less maintenance and faster ribbon changeover means increased uptime.
Thermal Transfer Printing
The Linx Thermal Transfer printer is also easy to use:
  • Colour touch screens result in fewer errors and hassle free operation
  • Intuitive graphic user interface allows message preview before coding
  • Allows manufacturers to switch easily between intermittent and continuous printing modes
  • Switch between left or right hand operation
  • Both models fit into many existing coder brackets, enabling straightforward retro fitting to production lines
  • The Linx Thermal Transfer printer TT5 model has a 1,000m ribbon, which is one of the longest standard ribbons on the market
  • Bi-directional motors drive both ribbon unwind and rewind reels, creating more prints per ribbon and leaving only a 1mm gap between messages
  • Consumables use is very efficient, and no overprinting occurs

Most products, including Matthews’ Thermal Transfer Printers, are available ex-stock Melbourne and are supported by our sales and service operations located in each mainland state.
