The FOX IV 3010, available from Matthews Intelligent Information , is a fully programmable label printer with in-built smarts suitable for FMCG industry. It features USB host ports, flash memory slots and Windows drivers, and supports a wide variety of barcode formats, fonts and graphic forms.
Features include:
- In-built intelligence therefore no PC required
- Fully programmable
- Controls peripheral devices
- Suitable for carton and pallet labelling
Mark Dingley, head of Matthews Identification Systems Group, says that the intelligence built in to the FOX IV 3010 label printer, which Matthews Intelligent Information had launched at Food Pro in July this year, makes it a smart machine.
The machine’s advanced technology allows users to scan, look up from an onboard database, print and apply. There is no need to have a PC on the line. In-built intelligence enables the machine to use the onboard logic program, maintain control of peripheral devices, and automatically retain label formats after it powers down.
In addition to its in-built smarts, the FOX IV 3010 features a Uniwall design to reduce tracking issues, silk-screened media paths to shorten downtime, swing-away cylinders for easy access, intuitive user displays and dynamic rewind tension control. This machine is suitable for carton and pallet labelling and will be of particular benefit for logistics applications in the FMCG industry.
