Australia’s dedicated vision inspection solutions company, iQVision brings together Australian Machine Vision’s extensive experience with vision solutions, and systems integration capabilities and project management competence from Matthews Intelligent Identification .
Launched in July this year, iQVision provides reliable, robust, vision inspection systems to Australian manufacturing industries, establishing and automating objective quality processes.
Ken Razga, iQVision’s MD, says that iQVision’s solutions reduce rework and wastage, making the packaging process leaner and more reliable while optimising profits for manufacturers.
According to Matthews Intelligent Identification MD, Lester Nichol, iQVision has the unique advantage of delivering vision solutions coupled with iDSnet as the controlling software.
In addition to checking code presence, formation and label position, iQVision’s vision solutions can also ensure error-free coding as well as performance and efficiency reporting via iDSnet Manager.
Delivering vision solutions integrated with PCM software to support customers Australia-wide, iQVision offers a huge advantage for manufacturers with plants in more than one state.
The Matthews-affiliated company works closely with Matthews on projects where vision inspections are needed, and also operates directly with customers when required.
As well as developing internal skill sets within Matthews’ technical service team, iQVision is developing and maintaining a wide OEM partner network to service the Australian and New Zealand markets, says Mr Razga.
iQVision extends Matthews’ technology portfolio of product-ID technologies, according to Mr Nichol who believes that the new company is a natural fit for Matthews.
Matthews’ core business is about product identification, and vision systems are all about product identification and inspection, mainly for quality purposes. iQVision sits very well with Matthews’ project methodologies, delivery and software integration skills with iDSnet.
iQVision is headquartered in Rowville, Victoria, along with Matthews.
