THE 30W e-SolarMark printer from Matthews Intelligent Identification is now available with a touch-screen interface. A keyboard is still attached, so users can use either to perform functions. It can be run from a PC or networked into a system.
The 30W e-SolarMark replaces the 25W model. It offers an increased variety of printable substrates, improved robustness and greater versatility. The new model can also tackle more substrates, including glass, cardboards, plastics and some metals.
30W models of the SolarJet S and HD laser printers are also available, replacing earlier 25W models. Further developments on the SolarJet S and e-SolarMark printers mean the control units can now be wall mounted, freeing up valuable floor space previously occupied by pedestal mounted units.
The 30W models also have a strong casing of stainless steel, replacing aluminium. The new housings allow them to work in and cope with a corrosive environment, such as caustic cleaning agents in food plants. The applications are quite wide, from electronic components to food products and even automotive products.
Matthews' Solaris range now consists of: e-SolarMark 10W and 30W, SolarJet S 30W and SolarJet HD 30W and 50W. The HD models are IP65 rated making them wash-down and dust resistance.
