HOLDTITE pallet liners, made from specially coated paper, stops cartons sliding off, reduces load damage and waste.
Developed in Australia by Dalton Packaging, the re-usable Holdtite sheets break down to pulp for paper recycling. Holdtite retains its non-slip properties in a variety of environmental conditions.
Matthews Intelligent Identification will show how Holdtite helps stabilise pallets at Auspack, October 11-14 at Sydney Showgrounds, at stand 445.
"Applications of an adhesive label made from Holdtite material can be done in line, for example using an Avery label applicator or a FOX IV label applicator, applying a Holdtite label to the top or bottom of a carton, depending upon what the customer needs,” said Matthews Intelligence’s Phil Biggs.
"Doing applications in-line means no extra labour is required to use the Holdtite - it's a very cost effective method.
"What's really exciting is that we can print onto the Holdtite label for a wine company, or we're printing a bar code, but many customers may like to print a promotional message. In the future, we can quite possibly integrate an RFID tag into the Holdltite material."
Holdtite is available in several forms to suit different in-line applications.
“This is yet another way Matthews can partner with industry leaders to provide innovative, leading solutions to customers,” said Mr Biggs.
