MATTHEWS Intelligent Identification , in conjunction with Pegasus Printing, has formed a partnership with international label and equipment house Avery Dennison.
Phil Biggs, Matthews national sales and marketing manager said the deal followed a successful year-long trial of selling Avery Dennison products under the Novexx name.
Biggs said the German-manufactured products had generated much interest in the Australian market because of the equipment's reliable nature and high level of standard features.
The Avery Dennison label applicator range covers application speeds from zero to 120 metres a minute and label lengths from 10mm to 999mm.
The machines are also fast to set up and offer rapid product change-over, with large message storage. The missing-label detection feature offers product confidence.
Biggs said the label applicators applied pre-printed labels onto a range of items, making them excellent for primary product labelling uses.
In addition, Avery Dennison has a range of high speed print and apply machines, ideal for printing specific product information onto generic labels.
