Matthews Australasia launched a series of check weighing and labelling systems recently at the AUSPACK PLUS show.
Matthews’ new capabilities in check-weighing and labelling systems as well as inspection systems enable the company to deliver more value to existing and new customers to code, mark, weigh, label and inspect products. The iDSnet-compatible technologies improve Matthews’ offerings in the logistics, fresh produce and grocery sectors.
Made in Germany by Bizerba, Matthews’ range of check-weighing and labelling systems as well as inspection systems include check weighers, weigh price labellers, weigh labellers, vision systems and metal detection systems. Bizerba is a leading global solutions provider that offers professional system solutions in scale, label, information and food service technologies across retail, food, production and logistics segments.
According to Managing Director Lester Nichol, the new product range expands their capabilities and enables them to offer existing customers even more integrated identification and inspection solutions. Adding metal detectors and extending vision capability open up a new inspection market for Matthews.
Mark Dingley, general manager of operations explains that the new product range integrates with Matthews’ iDSnet software solutions, delivering better results and integration capabilities for customers.
The check-weigh labelling systems consist of compact, fully automatic labellers that can be used as standalone machines with manual feed, and can also integrate into existing automated production lines for fully automatic weigh and weigh price labelling.
