Leading Australian product identification company, Matthews Australasia
announces the appointment of Mark Dingley as the new general manager of operations.
Mark, who holds a Bachelor of Science (Computer Science) from RMIT University, joined Matthews in 1994, and has since worked through different departments in various roles, beginning with customer service, and then progressing through marketing, product management and software product development.
As manager of Identification Systems and Software, Mark spearheaded the development of iDSnet and its roadmap, making iDSnet an award-winning software used by manufacturing organisations across Australia.
Lester Nichol, managing director of Matthews Australasia is confident that Mark will continue to take the company on the growth and innovation journey begun almost 35 years ago.
Mark looks forward to taking on the GM’s role for operations. He plans to use his management, project management and business development skills to further develop the company as it continues to support and improve the efficiency of Australian manufacturing businesses and their supply chains with market-leading intelligent identification solutions.
Actively engaged in the industry, Mark is chairman of the Australian Packaging & Processing Machinery Association (APPMA) and is also involved with GS1 Australia.
