Australian owned Austech Wire & Cable improves performance after installing the reliable and user-friendly Linx 7300 Spectrum Continuous Inject (CIJ) printer with blue pigmented ink.
Ugo Marchesani , Austech’s production engineering manager explained that the Linx 7300 Spectrum uses a blue pigmented ink which not only prints accurate, high-contrast metre marks and cable identification along lengths of cable for many different applications but is also highly visible on any colour surface – so dark, light or even blue surfaces are not a problem.
The new Linx 7300 adds to the already large range of Austech’s inkjet printers from various manufacturers. The user-friendliness and reliability of this new printer, together with the superior support service offered by Matthews made the upgrade an easy choice for Austech.
This new printer is ideal for coding onto dark or coloured surfaces, rubber and plastic extrusions and it legibly prints inverse text and quickly scannable barcodes in white ink on black substrates.
