MATTHEWS Intelligent Identification has released the 30W e-SolarMark laser, replacing the 25W model. It has increased versatility, print speed and print quality.
It can tackle substrates including glass, cardboards, plastics and some metals. The control unit can be wall-mounted, saving floor space. HD models in the Solaris laser range are IP65-rated, giving them wash-down and dust resistance.
The 30W e-SolarMark has a touch-screen interface which has increased the laser's user-friendliness, adaptability and flexibility. The touch screen allows operators a virtual look at the steps they need to move through and gives them a real time view of what stage the printer is at.
The system doesn't need consumables and can run from a PC or be networked into a system. Both touch screen or keyboard models allow the operator to enter data online and the touch-screen lessens or removes key strokes. The new 30W e-SolarMark has a stainless-steel casing. It can cope with a corrosive environment like caustic cleaning agents in food plants.
