Matrikon  introduces its updated OPC server for Allen Bradley, expanding the range of supported Allen Bradley devices, improving performance and simplifying configuration.

The newly enhanced Matrikon OPC server supports additional devices including ControlLogix, MicroLogix, and PLC5s, providing users with comprehensive open access connectivity for their Allen Bradley PLCs.

The Allen Bradley OPC server includes built-in security that protects data from unauthorised user access by allowing administrators to define the specific data visible to each user based on their Windows login credentials. The Allen Bradley OPC server plays an active role in maintaining data integrity.
