Pallet Inverters, Dispensers and Lifters

Handling Pallets
Pallets and palletised goods are everywhere we look these days. All these palletised goods have to be loaded and unloaded, stored and handled through various processes.

Materials Handling has a vast range of products to load, lift, invert, dispense, shrink wrap and store wooden, steel and plastic pallets. Plastic pallets and pallet bins are also supplied.

Loading Pallets
Vacuum tube lifters are ideal to safely, quickly and easily load and unload bags, boxes, crates and random products. The use of the following lifters present products at an ergonomic level and make lifting tasks a breeze and save possible back injuries:
  • Smartlift Scissor Lift Tables
  • Palift Auto Levelling Platforms
  • Quikstak Auto Stackers
Materials Handling’s walkie stackers are an economical aid to lift pallets off and on trucks and to pallet racking.

Inverting Pallets
With the move to have hygienic pallets used in the food industry pallet inverters are an
invaluable and effortless aid when product would have to be normally restacked by hand.

Pallet inverters are used for the rotation of pallet loads where exchange of pallets or inversion of product is required. Without a pallet inverter it is necessary to load and unload the pallets by hand which is slow and difficult and potentially a source of worker injury.

An inverter eliminates the need for manual intervention and therefore eliminates the injury risk whilst significantly increasing cycle times and productivity.

Dispensing Pallets
  • Pallet dispensers automatically accumulate and dispense pallets onto conveyors or onto the floor so that a single pallet can be accessed from the bottom of a stack of pallets
  • Empty pallets can weigh in excess of 30kg and should not be manually handled
  • Pallets can be loaded and unloaded with forklifts and/or hand pallet trucks
  • The hook tine dispensers can assist to create a forklift free zone
  • The dispensers are 15, 25, 30 or 50 pallet capacity
Storing Pallets
Materials Handling supply the following for pallets:
  • SSI Schaefer Selective, Double Deep, Very Narrow Aisle (VNA)
  • Drive In, Pallet Live Storage, Mobile and the Schaefer Satellite System (SSS)
  • Automated Storage and Retrieval Systems (AS/RS)
