Intelligent Lifting Devices are a new family of Materials Handling equipment also known as Intelligent Lift Assist Devices.

Materials Handling represents three leading global players, Kahlman, Quick-Lift and Mvomech, MechChain from Sweden and Gorbel G Force from the USA.

Intelligent Lifting Devices use patented technology and an industrial processor controlled servo drive systems to deliver unmatched lifting precision and speed. The units enable operators to lift and manoeuvre naturally, as if the device were an extension of their own arm.

With just a feather touch on the patented lift handle our units leap into controlled action. Where the hand goes, the load follows. It is truly the closest thing to the bionic hand since the TV series, Six Million Dollar Man.

When the manoeuvre handle is released the lifted product is in balance and the load can be lifted and lowered for precise positioning without the use of the control handle.

For high value products that require rapid, repetitive movement Intelligent Lifting Devices are the safest and most productive lifting products available as they give the responsiveness and flexibility of a human operator plus the power of a machine.

They are totally programmable and incorporate a range of speeds so they are perfect for quick, repetitive motions and slow, precise placements. Intelligent Lifting Devices are ideally partnered with our Altrac and Movomech Rail lightweight gantry, jib and monorail systems.
