Hopper lift frame and transport trolley, available from Matcon IBC , has been specifically designed to enable simple removal and transportation of the central Hopper portion of a Matcon IBC discharge station.
Hopper removal is facilitated by the lift frame which fits onto the forks of a forklift or pedestrian stacker truck. Two chains with hooks are attached to the lifting eyes on the discharge station hopper and the unit can be easily lifted away from the station frame. The quick release fittings enable the services to be unplugged before removal.
The Hopper can be placed into the transport trolley once it has been detached from the discharge station. The hopper can then be securely fastened to the transport trolley. Transport trolleys allow Hoppers to be moved for manual cleaning. Use of the transport trolley removes the need to use a forklift. The Hopper support on the trolley can be turned upside down or inclined to enable full cleaning access to all surfaces.
