MARTOR is continuously developing new safer and more innovative knives and cutters to add to their vast range.
In 1976 a major breakthrough occurred - Martor was the first company to introduce a safety cutter with automatic blade retracts on a worldwide scale, namely the Martor Profi.
This forerunner model is the origin of a wide range of Martor safety cutters that are designed to protect users from serious cutting accidents.
The new Martor Multiset No. 118001 is the latest knife to be added to the famous Profi series yet this new knife has many new advantages, according to Martor.
The Multiset can be used by both right and left-handed users, unlike other knives in this series.
Another advantage is the addition of a locking screw, which permits the user to set the blade cutting depth up to a maximum of 24mm.
If customers have a variety of cutting applications then this is the safety knife for the job. With a 0.63mm thick blade, this safety knife is designed for all cutting applications.
The Multiset has a solid aluminium body, incorporating a spring loaded blade retract system designed to respond to any uncontrolled move. If and when the thumb push slider is not in the forward position – Martor says to let go of the slider when making the cut.
As with all Martor safety knives the blade change is easy, no tools are required - just slide the blade mount insert back.
All Martor safety cutters are tested by the German Safety Control Board TUV to ensure conformity with the applicable safety regulations - this is confirmed by the "GS" symbol displayed on all Martor knives and cutters.
