Imaje launches specialised pallet labeller



Pallet labeller
Imaje, a global marking, labelling and coding company has added a new system to its Imaje 2000 series product line.

Imaje 2000 pallet is ideal for pallet identification in accordance with GS1 specifications and guidelines. The Imaje 2000 pallet was exhibited at Auspack 2007, in Melbourne.

The Imaje 2000 series carton and pallet identification solution has been recognised by two international design awards namely the red dot Design Award in 2005 and the iF Award in 2006.

The Imaje 2000 series is used for secure carton and pallet identification. The Imaje 2000 series’ main assets are its simplicity, flexibility, reliability and connectivity.

According to the product manager Göran Telhage, “Launching the Imaje 2000 Pallet has allowed us to provide our customers with the most complete and coherent print and apply product line on the market today. The Imaje 2000 Series is an ‘all-in-one’ printing solution. It has the same design, the same interface, it is made of the same top materials, has the same functionalities. It is unique and simple to use.”

Imaje 2000 Pallet: when innovation enhances ease-of-use

Incorporating current breakthroughs in the Imaje 2000 series' design, the Imaje 2000 pallet has been specifically designed for pallet identification.

Quality of printing and applying of labels

Good print quality for 100% barcode legibility (GS1 norm): UCC/EAN-128 barcodes. Once applied, the barcode label is checked using an integrated scanner. Labels may be applied on two adjacent sides of the pallet in 20 seconds.

GS1 standards

Imaje 2000 pallet prints and applies labels to comply with the GS1 label requirements standards in the DIN A5 portrait format, UCC/EAN128 barcodes, unique pallet identification number (SSCC), article code, expiration date, batch number, quantity etc.

New connectivity system

A high-speed interface for quick download of information to print thus making integration efficient. Easy network integration via an Ethernet port allows management and configuration of the entire installed base using one computer.

Enhanced security

Enhanced operator security; floor stand and docking station are fixed to the ground reducing tipping risks, emergency stop button is easy to find and the applicator automatically shuts-off if misused.

Integration is easy and flexible

Different label positioning on pallet is achieved using either a right- or left-handed applicator. Constant label positioning is guaranteed as Imaje 2000 pallet is fixed to the ground.
