Manufacturing Learning Australia establishes Dubbo Lean Network

Supplier News

Manufacturing Learning Australia  has established the Dubbo Lean Network to further support the implementation of competitive manufacturing in regional NSW.

Building on the implementation of Lean by Orange network last year, the Dubbo Lean Network provides an opportunity for local businesses to access a wealth of Lean expertise and support for implementation of their own Lean projects.

Lean practioner Brian Levitan (Lean Australia) and Manufacturing Learning’s Sarah Quinton will present the four month intensive program of workshops and mentoring to ensure that the Lean tools and Lean principles are understood and put into practice to achieve benefits in process improvements, efficiency and culture change for member organisations.

The program includes a range of Lean tools such as 5S, kaizen, value stream mapping and error proofing.

The network is also supported by the local Industry Capability Network and the NSW Dept of State and Regional Development under the Stepping Up program.
