Sharp Middle East FZE (SMEF) has won a contract to supply 60 units of 108-inch Sharp LCD monitors for meeting rooms at the Qatar National Convention Centre (QNCC) in the city of Doha.
With the country scheduled to host the 2022 FIFA World Cup tournament, there is prime focus on infrastructure and property development. The QNCC aims to be the region’s first convention facility to earn a LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) gold rating.
Sharp’s eco-positive LCD monitors were selected by QNCC for meeting their large-display requirements.
SMEF Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director Fumio Yamaguchi recently visited the site where the LCD monitors were being installed.
Mr Yamaguchi considers the contract as a tremendous success for the company’s LCD monitor team as well as partners, and hopes for more successes in the region.
