Supplier News

The new addition to Digital View’s family of HD-SDI adapter boards is now available from Manuco Electronics (Sharp) .

The new HD-SDI adapter boards are designed to enable professional display designers to extend the capabilities of their display solutions.

Designed specifically for high-end video applications such as broadcast videos and digital signage, the HD-3000 adapter boards can be added to any display system using Digital View’s SVH-1920 LCD controller to enable dual channel HD-SDI (up to 3G transfer rates) for driving HDMI monitors.

Fully standards compliant, the HD-3000 adapter boards provide re-clocked loop through outputs for daisy-chaining multiple monitors or other equipment to the same HD-SDI source. The adapter boards also support embedded audio.

Digital View Chairman James Henry says that the HD-SDI adapter is an extremely cost-effective option for transferring HD-SDI signals across long distances.

This addition to the adapter board product range is an important development for display system designers. The combination of the SVH-1920 and the HD-3000 makes it possible to develop professional video display products quickly and cost-effectively.

The SVH-1920 is one of Digital View’s high-end, cost-effective professional LCD controller interfaces offering support for full 1080p High Definition LCD displays.

Key features of SVH-1920 LCD controllers:

  • Features full screen image expansion of lower resolutions, image flip and invert functions as well as onscreen PIP functions
  • Supports an available High-Definition Serial Digital Interface (HD-SDI) adapter for professional and broadcast video applications
