Manhattan Associates to reveal details of new supply chain vision at Smart Conference & Expo 2013

Global supply chain commerce provider Manhattan Associates will share insights into the company’s revamped supply chain vision ­at the upcoming Smart Conference & Expo 2013 in Sydney.

The 2013 Smart Conference and Expo will be held from 26 June to 27 June at the Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre in Darling Harbour.

Manhattan Associates will use the conference platform to announce details of the company’s new vision for redefining the supply chain, Supply Chain Commerce, and its relevance for its Australian customer base. Supply Chain Commerce is a fundamental change in how two historically separate functions come together to create unprecedented growth opportunities between buyers and brands and a tool for executing a successful omni-channel strategy.

Raghav Sibal, Managing Director for Australia and New Zealand at Manhattan Associates and Scott Gillies, Director for Retail, Asia Pacific at Manhattan Associates, will both be in attendance at the Smart Conference to discuss the new vision as well as the latest trends and developments impacting the supply chain industry.

Manhattan’s platform-based Supply Chain Commerce solution, which is based on more than US$300 million in research and development since 2006 has been architected to anticipate, align and adapt to the new omni-channel landscape. According to Sibal, Manhattan is a recognised leader in supply chain experience and innovation and will continue to lead their customers through the digital revolution with customer-centred solutions that connect front-end commerce and sales systems with back-end supply chain performance and efficiency on a common technology platform.

A highlight of the 2013 Smart Conference is a keynote address by GraysOnline, one of Australia’s leading online retail and auction companies, and a long-standing customer of Manhattan Associates.

In his presentation ‘Conquering the ŒOnline Wave; Without Bombing Out!’ at 7.30am on Thursday, 27th June, Cameron Poolman CEO, GraysOnline will discuss how the ŒOnline revolution has impacted his business, and in particular, how operations and the supply chain have been customised to suit the online sales channel.
