Magnet Sales Australia has recently been selling lifting magnets designed for lifting heavy steel billets into a lathe safely and easily for machining.
KRE Lifting magnet system is designed to lift the machined flat end of a steel billet up into the vertical position where the load is guided by an attached handle on the back of the lifting magnet into a lathe.
This makes loading of steel billets easy and safe as the lifting magnet can be easily switched off once the billet is engaged in the lathe chuck.
Do not risk accidents caused by slipage by using unsafe slings to lift heavy billets.
