New from Paqworks is the Westermo DDW-220 Industrial Ethernet Extender.

The DDW-220 is the ideal solution for extending the Ethernet network over copper cables, where in the past the only option would have been fibre or radio.

Speeds can be as fast as 5.7 Mbit/s in both directions with transmission distances up to 10km.

The built-in 4 port Ethernet switch makes the DDW-220 the only necessary component required to create a small network.

Total galvanic isolation between all interfaces, extended type approvals and rugged mechanical design as well as extensive over-voltage protection and line interface voltage suppression makes the DDW-220 a good solution in harsh industrial environments.

  • Plug and play
  • Data rates up to 5.7Mbits/s
