Madison Technologies has been awarded the Fibre Optic Data Network Contract for the pipeline infrastructure on the Queensland Gas LNG (QGCLNG) by the MC QGC JV.
Madison Technologies will be providing the backbone fibre for the communications’ infrastructure, as well as associated passive equipment, which will run the length of the main gas distribution pipeline from Central Queensland to the cost of Gladestone for QGCLNG.
The fibre optic cables are designed to meet the specifications of the project, which includes coping with heavy expansive soils and the environmental conditions of Northern Queensland. The fibre optic cables will be installed in conjunction to the gas piplelines.
Madison Technologies will also be providing 3M searchable markers for cable detection, circular electronic markers for pit detection and a range of 3M fibre enclosures as part of their contract.
